Ambassador Committee
Ambassadors welcome new businesses to the area, facilitate ribbon-cutting ceremonies,
and insure that all are welcome at our events. This is a great way to meet new
contacts. Ambassadors meet at 8 am. on
the 2nd Thursday of each month at the Citizens Community Room. Program Chairperson
is Dave Rykbost of Dave's Landscape Management (drykbost@daveslandscape.com).
Auction Committee
Members begin their work in January and finish in April. While some members help
gather donations, others just assist on the night of the event. This event typically
attracts 200 participants and is a great way to meet a large variety of membership.
Committee Coordinators are Sarah Cressy and Karen Henderson from the Chamber

Board of Directors
The Board of fifteen sets policy, budget and reviews programming. They meet on
the 3rd Wednesday of the month, 7:45 am. at Citizens Bank in Hudson. A full list
of Directors is available on our web site under Chamber Organization. The 2008
Chairman of the Board is Bob Larkin of Frick & Frack (maynard.housing@verizon.net).
Downtown Trick or Treats Committees
Downtown Trick or Treats occur in both Hudson and Maynard on the Thursday before
Halloween. Volunteers assist at Chamber tables on the night of the event. Program Coordinators are Sarah Cressy and Karen Henderson of
the Chamber (info@assabetvalleychamber.org).
Golf Classic Committee
Meets monthly from March to September to plan and execute our golf tournament
at Charter Oak Country Club. The Committee meets on the first Friday of the month
at the Chamber Office at 8:30 am. The Committee Chairperson is Ray
Murphy of Avidia Bank

Government Affairs Committee
The GAC monitors legislation and political events that affect our constituency,
plus educate membership and lobby when necessary. The committee meets on the
1st Thursday of each month, 8 am. at Boyd Coatings Research Co. in Hudson and
is chaired by Chuck Randall of Randall Properties. (chrlm@aol.com)
Hudson Coalition for Giving
Volunteers seek sponsors to provide clothing, toys and food baskets for 140
Hudson families during December. The Committee begins to meet in September and
finishes in January. For sponsorship info, see our web site under Our Events.

Maynard Fest Committee
Meets the 1st Wednesday of the month from March to October to plan the Maynard
Fest. Meetings are at the Maynard Town Building in Room 201 at 8 am. The Maynard
Fest is on the 1st Saturday in October. Committee Chairperson is Marlene Thomas
from Middlesex Savings Bank (marlene.thomas@middlesexbank.com).
Maynard Matters Committee
Meets monthly on the 4th Wednesday of the month, 8 am. at the Maynard Town Building
in Room 201. The Committee discusses and prioritizes issues of concern and works
on programs such as Downtown Trick or Treat, downtown beautification, etc. Meetings
also feature community leaders as guest speakers. Committee Chairperson is Bob
Larkin of Maynard Rotary Club and Frick and Frack. (maynard.housing@verizon.net)
Women's Business Advisory Council (WBAC)
Members meet on the 1st Wednesday of the month, eight times a year, for
networking, lunch and a speaker at an area restaurant. This group also conducts two joint meetings a
year with area chambers. The Council Chairperson is Mary Beth Parker of Citizens
Bank
