HELP WANTED

Horseshoe Pub in Hudson seeks breakfast wait staff. Experience desired, but not necessary. Interested parties should contact Nick at 978.568.1265.

Harvest Cafe of Hudson seeks pt prep and line cooks to help grow their evening hours. Interested parties should contact Karen or Pippa at 978.567.0948.

We've had a few calls from area HS students and returning college students who are seeking summer employment. If you're willing to hire, please let us know!



The 21st Annual Hudson Community Fest is right around the corner, and there are many ways you can help celebrate this June 2nd event.

We are still seeking sponsors ($100, $250 and $500). Sponsorship underwrites the cost of our free family entertainment throughout the day. This year's entertainment includes a children's sing-a-long, big band, world music, bluegrass, Celtic and a meandering magician. Sponsors are listed on all of our materials, and 5000 brochures are distributed in the Assabet Valley Region.

Host a sidewalk sale or special promotion. Whether it's hosting entertainment, putting your wares on the sidewalk, or giving out free balloons, your participation will get you noticed, not to mention included on 5000 brochures as well. Stumped for an idea, give us a call.

Participate in the Truck Zoo sponsored by the Hudson Savings Bank. Do you have a nifty vehicle you'd like to share from noon to two? If yes, you can join the 15 or so fascinating vehicles in the Bank's South St. lot. This is a great free way to get business exposure as well.

Volunteer. We could use a few volunteers to help us distribute materials in our region before hand, and we desire a half-a-dozen volunteers the day of the Fest. Unless you want more, we will assign no more than 2 hours of work/person.

Last, but not least, come to the event! Weather permitting, we promise that it will be spectacular!


  • Director Spotlight: Steve Ziegler

    • Steve bought Star Custom Framers located in the Stow Shopping Center in 2005. Prior to that, he spent 30 years in the shoe industry beginning with the Kinney Shoe Corp where he progressed through the Manager Training Program and on to NYC where he worked in distribution for the chain's 1500 shoe stores. He was promoted back to his hometown of Chicago as a Regional Buyer, and three years later was promoted back to the NYC, where he ended up buying for the largest department in the company with sales exceeding $54 million. In 1989, he moved with his wife and two sons to Marlborough, and served as VP of Product Development for Sporto Co. until he decided to purchase Star Custom Framers.
